CariSTEM is a platform for persons and organizations interested in science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) within the Caribbean. We aim to provide relevant articles and other resources to aid the development of the STEM areas in the Caribbean.
Our mission is to become a premier resource for promoting and developing the disciplines of science, technology, engineering and mathematics within the Caribbean region.
The audience for CariSTEM includes:
- Secondary school students interested in what’s happening in the Caribbean and the wider world in STEM, and how the mathematics and science they're learning plays out in the “real world.”
- University students interested in developments within the Caribbean in their fields of study, seeking topics for projects and research, and exploring ideas on possible career directions.
- Professionals following developments and opportunities that might impact their work.
- The general public interested in how STEM developments and issues might affect their lives, and in the activities and achievements of Caribbean people engaged in STEM
